GROWING UP
I was introduced to the outdoors very early in life! I was only 2 months old when my parents took me up to the mountains and lakes in Patagonia and ever since i can remember i have always felt a deep connection with nature!
My dad and my mom taught my siblings and I to love and respect nature in all its shapes and forms and regardless of the weather, to be outdoors was always the best choice!
FINDING MY TRUE NORTH
I found God in nature and was able to experience his amazing love for us through his creation! I have always believed that nature brings the best out of people and helps us to connect with each other better than anything else!
D2R was born from my love for God, nature and the outdoors: things I have always felt rooted deep inside my heart!
MY DESIRE IS...
My desire is to share this passion and freedom I experience every time I am out there solo, with my family, my friends and my dog! Help people to embrace silence and being immerse in nature and watch, smell, listen, feel, and taste in awe all the wonders of the natural world! Experience God as close as it can be!
SCREENS BREAK
It is sad and worrying to see how much we have lost touch with nature by being “SO connected” with all types of media, yet “SO disconnected “to where we belong: nature and relationship with each other!
This is part of my mission and passion : To help everyone who is willing to Disconnect from all electronics and the media that surrounds us to Reconnect once again to God, nature, ourself, and each other!
ALWAYS RESPECT NATURE
I am a certified Wilderness First Responder (WFR). As much as i love nature and embrace outdoors, im also aware of the wild side and the fact we always have to respect nature in all its forms and be safe above all, respect our own lives and always be our brother’s keeper!
A PASSION FOR SPORTS & OUTDOORS & ALWAYS...MY DOG!
I have done through the years many hiking expeditions in my home country, Patagonia, Chile, USA, and Europe. I am also an athlete, as a rower I train and compete on the regular bases as a single sculler, double and quad. I also love to bike, cross country ski, snowboard, canoe paddle, ocean kayaking sailing and every-type of sports related to water and mountains! Anything outdoors I am a happy camper! Nature is where I truly feel at home!
MY TREASURES
I treasure spending time with God, my familia and the people I love, my friends from around the world, my dog Lolita and Luigi & Ringo my birdies! I always treasure having music around me, dancing, good food, a good “asado with friends by a lake, camping, having mate in the morning in the woods by a fire, and so many other simple things that make me so happy that it would be hard to write them all here!
